Maritime Ponnonam 2026 is SICAM’s flagship multicultural event celebrating
Onam, Kerala’s traditional harvest festival, along with SICAM’s Ruby Jubilee.
The event will showcase Kerala’s rich cultural heritage.
The celebration promotes multicultural understanding, cultural preservation,
and community connection across South Indian communities in Nova Scotia.
Pookkalam (floral carpet) and Onam themed photobooth, Cultural dance and music performances,
Chenda (Traditional Kerala percussion), Traditional Onasadya, Traditional games for everyone, and
Ruby Jubilee celebration (on stage)
